Description
Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray is a combination of Fluticasone Furoate and Azelastine. It is used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (an allergic reaction causing sneezing, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes) in adolescents and adults. Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray works by blocking the release of chemical substances that cause allergic reactions. Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray may cause side effects like dryness and irritation of the nose and throat, headache, unusual taste, nose bleeding, etc. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects bother you for a long time or become severe. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray is a prescription medicine. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on your health condition. Follow all the instructions mentioned on the label for usage. Avoid using more than the prescribed dose or for a longer duration. Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray can weaken your immune system and increase the risk of getting an infection or worsening an infection you already have. Impaired wound healing

Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray is not recommended for use in case of recent nasal injury, nose ulcers, nasal surgery, etc. until completely healed, as this medicine may delay healing and worsen your condition.

Liver disease

Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray should be used with caution if you have severe liver problems as it may increase the risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest tests to monitor your liver functions during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

Infections

Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray should be used with extreme caution if you have tuberculosis (a lung infection) or other active infections. This medicine can suppress your immune activity and worsen your condition, especially if you are using high doses of this medicine.

Ocular herpes infection

Ocular herpes simplex is an eye infection caused by the herpes simplex virus. Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray should be used with caution if you have an ocular herpes infection. This medicine can damage the cornea (transparent front part of the eye) and worsen your condition.

Ocular Toxicities

Prolonged use of high doses of Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray may cause cataracts (a hazy layer that forms in the lens of the eye) or increased fluid pressure inside the eye. Hence it should be used with caution if you have a history of cataracts or glaucoma (an eye condition with abnormally high pressure inside the eye that may lead to vision loss).

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a condition in which the bones become weak and brittle.Floresp-AZ Nasal Spray should be used with caution if you have osteoporosis. Prolonged use of this medicine may cause loss of bone density and further worsen your existing condition.
