Description
Flextab-MR Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used for the treatment of pain, swelling, and other symptoms associated with muscle spasms. It may also be used to treat symptoms such as pain, swelling, etc. associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders. Patients are advised to undergo appropriate physical therapy and rest, as necessary, along with this medicine to obtain the best possible effect.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from kidney diseases associated with the excessive use of painkillers due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Severe liver impairment

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe liver impairment due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Asthma

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from asthma due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Gastro-intestinal bleeding

General warnings

Chronic Malnutrition

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from malnourishment due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Gastro-intestinal toxicity

This medicine may cause severe gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation after prolonged usage. These adverse events may occur with or without warning symptoms. This risk is especially higher in the elderly population and in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Close monitoring of clinical condition, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Heart surgery

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a history of recent heart surgery due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Driving or operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause dizziness, fainting, and drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.

How it works
Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the formation of certain chemical substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. Paracetamol increases the pain threshold and decreases swelling. Chlorzoxazone acts on the spinal cord and brain to reduce the impulses responsible for muscle spasms.
