Description
Famocid 20 MG Injection is used to reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and other acidity related disorders in hospitalized patients or who are unable to take oral forms of famotidine.

This medicine may cause central nervous system adverse effects such as agitation, confusion, hallucinations, seizures, disorientation, delirium, lethargy, etc., in some patients especially those with moderate to severe kidney impairment. Close monitoring of the clinical condition, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.
