Description
F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension is a combination of Tobramycin and Fluorometholone. It is used to treat bacterial eye infections. This medicine works by stopping the growth of bacteria and decreasing the production of certain chemicals that cause pain, swelling, and redness in the eyes. F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension may cause side effects such as mild eye irritation, itchiness, and burning sensation. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor they remain for a long time or become severe. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines immediately after using this medicine, as it may cause temporary blurring of vision. F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension is meant for use in the eyes only. Instill this medicine in your eye(s) as instructed by your doctor. Use this medicine for the recommended duration for better results. Consult your doctor if you use contact lenses. F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other eye drops or have any other eye problems. Contact lens

Remove contact lenses prior to the administration of F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension. The lenses may be reinserted 10 to 15 minutes post-administration.

Driving or operating machines

F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension may cause short-term blurring of vision or eye discomfort. If you experience such symptoms, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines.

Drug resistance

Use of F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension without sufficient proof of a bacterial infection should be avoided. Irrational dosing might fail in providing the desired benefits. F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension should be used with extreme caution if you have a history of cataracts (cloudy area in the lens of the eye that affects vision) or glaucoma (increased fluid pressure inside your eyeballs that may lead to loss of vision), as it may worsen your condition.

Instill F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension in the affected eye(s) as instructed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after use. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper against your eye or other surfaces. Close the cover of the bottle after administration to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the dropper tip. Do not use F M L-T Ophthalmic Suspension for more than 30 days after breaking the seal.
