Description
Etoshine MR Tablet is a combination of Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside. It is a painkiller medicine that provides relief from pain and swelling associated with muscle spasms such as low back pain, neck pain, sprains/strains, etc. It works by relaxing your muscles and preventing muscle contraction. It also prevents the release of a chemical substance that causes pain and swelling in your body. Etoshine MR Tablet has side effects such as increased blood pressure, headache, stomach pain, heartburn, and diarrhoea. These side effects usually subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they remain for a long time or worsen. As this medicine may cause dizziness and drowsiness, avoid driving vehicles or operating heavy machines. Etoshine MR Tablet dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on your condition. Take this medicine as instructed by your doctor. Avoid taking more or less than the prescribed dose. For the ease of remembering and better results, take it at the same time every day. Take this medicine for the complete duration of treatment and avoid discontinuation without consulting your doctor as your symptoms may reappear. Etoshine MR Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Avoid taking this medicine if you have severe liver or kidney problems, or existing heart problems. Use this medicine with caution if you have diabetes and/or high blood cholesterol levels. Etoshine MR Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 16 years of age. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Allergy

Peptic Ulcer

Severe Liver/Kidney Impairment

Etoshine MR Tablet is not recommended for use if you have severe liver and/or kidney problems. This medicine may further damage your liver and/or kidneys and worsen your condition.

Heart diseases

Etoshine MR Tablet is not recommended for use if you have heart problems such as heart failure (a condition in which your heart is unable to pump a sufficient amount of blood), ischaemic heart diseases (heart problems due to narrowing of the blood vessels that supply oxygen to the heart), high blood pressure that has not been adequately controlled or if you have undergone a coronary artery bypass graft surgery (a surgical procedure that diverts the blood from narrowed or blocked vessels in the heart to improve its blood supply). Taking this medicine may increase your risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to reduced blood supply to the brain).
