Description
Etizola Plus 10 Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used to treat central nervous system disorders like anxiety, insomnia (sleeplessness), depression, etc. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may cause withdrawal symptoms like mood changes, irritability, dizziness, numbness in the hands or feet, and difficulty in falling asleep.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to etizolam, escitalopram, other SSRIs, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients undergoing treatment with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) such as selegiline, moclobemide, etc. There should be a time gap of at least 14 days between stopping treatment with MAOIs and beginning treatment with this medicine to avoid their interaction.

Pimozide

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients undergoing treatment with pimozide due to increased risk of heart rhythm disorders.

Myasthenia gravis

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a neuromuscular condition where the muscles tire rapidly, causing severe weakness and other complications due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Narrow angle glaucoma

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Porphyria

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have this rare disease of the blood due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

General warnings

Suicidal tendencies

Impaired Liver/Kidney function

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with kidney or liver diseases due to the increased risk of adverse effects. Drug Abuse

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of drug abuse. Chances of dependency are very high, especially if the intended use is for a long duration of time. Patients should be monitored closely for any changes in mood and behavior and any drug-seeking behavior; any such changes should be reported to the doctor immediately.

Use in the elderly

This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly and bedridden patients as the risk of adverse effects are higher than normal patients.
