It is also used for the treatment of edema and inflammation following surgery such as tooth extraction, cellulitis, abscess, sports injuries, sprains, etc.

General warnings

Gastro-intestinal toxicity

This medicine may cause damage to the stomach, intestines, liver, etc., especially on prolonged use. This risk is especially higher in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Report any symptoms such as chronic indigestion, blood in stool or vomit, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Heart surgery

This medicine should not be taken to relieve pain before, during, or after a coronary artery bypass graft surgery due to the increased risk of severe adverse reactions.

Kidney/Liver Disease

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with kidney/liver impairment due to the increased risk of adverse effects. Regular monitoring of the kidney/liver function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Driving or operating machinery

How it works
Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the chemical substances in the body that causes pain and swelling. Trypsin and Bromelain are enzymes which accelerate the tissue recovery process in the affected area. Rutoside acts as an antioxidant and also helps in relieving inflammation.
