Description
Enterogermina Capsule is a probiotic used to treat diarrhoea that may occur due to the imbalance of good bacteria in the intestine. Such imbalance may be caused due to stomach or intestinal infections, antibiotic treatment, consumption of poisonous substances, etc. This medicine works by restoring the balance of body-friendly bacteria in the intestine. Enterogermina Capsule may rarely show side effects like bloating and excessive gas in the stomach. These side effects are temporary and resolve with time. Seek a doctor's consultation if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. Enterogermina Capsule can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will prescribe the dose and duration of this medicine based on the severity of your medical condition. Avoid stopping the use of this medicine on your own unless told by your doctor. Your doctor may advise you to take this medicine along with ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution is a mixture of electrolytes and sugar that provide energy in the body and prevent dehydration) in case of severe diarrhoea. Enterogermina Capsule is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines to avoid any interaction. Use Enterogermina Capsule during pregnancy and breastfeeding upon your doctor's recommendation.

Take Enterogermina Capsule with or without food. Do not break, chew, or crush the capsule. Swallow as a whole with sufficient amount of water. Follow all the instructions given in the patient leaflet/package insert. Take Enterogermina Capsule at least two hours before or after taking an antibiotic. This is because taking this medicine along with an antibiotic can reduce its effectiveness.
