Encourage 2000 IU Injection is a synthetic form of a protein that regulates the formation of red blood cells in the body. It is used to treat anemia caused due to severe kidney disease or cancer medications. It is also used during certain surgeries to decrease the need for blood transfusion.

High blood pressure

Pure red cell aplasia

This medicine is not recommended for use if the patient has had a history of pure red cell aplasia after using this medicine or other medicines belonging to the Eryhtropoietin class of drugs.

Use of multi-dose vials

Use of multi-dose vials of this medicine is not recommended for children or pregnant women. The risk of severe adverse effects are increasingly high in such cases.
