Description
Elugel 0.2 % Gel is an antiseptic oral gel that is used for the treatment of mouth ulcers. It is also used on the tooth surfaces to prevent dental plaque (a thin film of bacteria that grows on your teeth) and gingivitis (swelling and redness of gums). It kills the harmful microorganisms in your mouth that causes gum swelling, tartar deposits, and bad odour. Elugel 0.2 % Gel causes little or no side effects. However, it may cause staining of teeth and taste changes. Inform your doctor if it bothers you for a long time or does not subside. Elugel 0.2 % Gel should be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Use it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended to avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after using it.
