Description
Efizyme Tablet is a combination of Pepsin and Fungal diastase. It is used for the treatment of digestion problems like heartburn and indigestion and for stimulating the appetite. It is also used in people having pancreatic insufficiency, a condition where the pancreas is not able to produce digestive enzymes. Efizyme Tablet may cause nausea, vomiting, upset stomach and diarrhoea. Seek medical attention if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Efizyme Tablet can be taken with food. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of this medicine based on the severity of the problem. Your doctor may advise you to take probiotics (live bacteria that provide health benefits when consumed) and plenty of fluids to prevent indigestion problems. Efizyme Tablet should be used with caution in individuals having pancreatitis. To make sure Efizyme Tablet is safe for you, share your entire medical and medication history with your doctor.
