Instructions - Duloxetine may increase the risk of liver injury if taken with alcohol. Avoid consumption of alcohol. Monitoring of liver enzymes is necessary. Any symptoms of abdominal pain, yellow discolouration of skin and eyes should be reported to the doctor.
Interaction with Medicine
Duloxetine should be used with caution in the patients with diabetes mellitus due to the alteration in the blood glucose levels. Monitoring of blood glucose levels is necessary. Any signs and symptoms like increased blood glucose levels, increased urination should be reported to the doctor.
Duloxetine should be used with caution in the patients with glaucoma due to the increase in the fluid pressure in the eye. Inform the doctor if you have any history of eye disorder. Suitable dose adjustments or an alternate medicine should be considered based on the clinical condition.
