Description
Doxinate Tablet is a medicine that contains Doxylamine and Pyridoxine. It is used to treat morning sickness (nausea and vomiting) in pregnant women. Doxinate Tablet works by blocking the activity of certain chemical messengers that causes nausea and vomiting. Doxinate Tablet has some temporary side effects such as constipation, dryness of mouth, weakness, abdominal pain, etc. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist for a long time. This medicine also causes drowsiness or sleepiness. Hence, do not perform activities that require your mental alertness after taking this medicine. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication. Doxinate Tablet is a prescription medicine. It should be taken on an empty stomach to avoid any food interactions. Inform your doctor about other medicines that you may be taking as some may interact with this medication. Doxinate Tablet is not recommended for use in children less than 18 years of age.
