Description
Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution is applied externally to relieve moderate pain and swelling of joints, associated with osteoarthritis (pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones). It works by blocking a chemical that is responsible for pain and swelling around your joints. Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution may cause irritation, burning sensation, itching or redness at the site of application. Avoid using Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution if you are allergic to it. Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution has to be used as directed by your physician. Your doctor may advise you a patch test (a procedure to be done over your skin) to see if you are allergic to this medicine. Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution is for external use only. Avoid direct contact of Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution with eyes or open wounds. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Allergy

NSAID-induced asthma

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)-induced asthma is an allergic condition of the respiratory system that may occur after you take an NSAID. These medicines narrow the airway and provoke mucous secretion in the airway, causing severe breathing difficulty. Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution is not recommended for use in this condition.

Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG)

Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a surgical procedure that diverts the blood from narrowed or blocked vessels in the heart to improve its blood supply. Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution is not recommended for use before, during, or after a coronary artery bypass graft surgery as it may cause heart failure.

If you swallow the gel accidentally, seek immediate medical attention. Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution is used in relieving mild to moderate pain. Apply the required amount of Diclotroy Qps 4 % Solution as instructed by your doctor. Do not use for durations shorter or longer than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by your doctor. After using this medicine, keep the applied area away from sunlight. Keep this medicine away from children and pets. Throw away the unused medicine safely after the expiry date. Consult your doctor if your symptoms are not improving after a few days of application.
