Description

Dersol-3 % Ointment is a topical medicine used to treat certain skin disorders such as corns, warts of the hands or feet, psoriasis, and other dry and scaly skin conditions. This medicine should not be used to treat genital warts, warts on the face, warts with hair growing from them, warts in the nose or mouth, moles, or birthmarks.

General warnings

Salicylism

Prolonged use of this medicine may lead to a toxic condition marked by ringing in the ears, nausea, and vomiting (salicylism) in some patients. Appropriate corrective measures or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

External use

This medicine is only recommended for external use. Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, mucous membranes, cuts, grazes, or wounds.

Missed Dose

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose

An overdose of this medicine is not likely to cause severe symptoms. However, the ingestion of this medicine may cause harm and immediate medical intervention may be required.
