Description
Deriphyllin Injection is a combination of etophylline and theophylline that acts as a bronchodilator (increases airflow in your lungs). It is used to treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which the flow of air in your lungs is obstructed). It works by relaxing the muscles in your airways, thus helping you to breathe more easily. Deriphyllin Injection is given by a qualified medical practitioner, therefore do not self administer. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of the therapy based on your clinical condition. Abrupt discontinuation of this medicine may worsen your condition. Before receiving Deriphyllin Injection, inform your doctor if you have any heart, liver, or kidney troubles. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.
