Disease interactions
People with mononucleosis (kissing disease- transmitted by saliva) may develop a maculopapular skin rash (a flat red area that is covered with small bumps) after 5-10 days of treatment with this medicine. This resolves within days of discontinuing the use. Demoxin CV (Alde Medi) (250/125 mg) Tablet may not be an appropriate medicine in people with mononucleosis.
Demoxin CV (Alde Medi) (250/125 mg) Tablet can kill the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and leads to diarrhoea. Therefore, use this medicine with extreme caution if you have colitis (swelling of your colon's inner lining).
People with kidney diseases need special consideration while taking Demoxin CV (Alde Medi) (250/125 mg) Tablet due to the risk of kidney damage. Dose adjustment should be done based on the clinical condition.
