Description
Culob-C Cream is a combination medicine used for the treatment of steroid responsive fungal infections including eczema and psoriasis. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 12 years of age.

Allergy

General warnings

Use only in confirmed infection

This medicine should not be used until the infection is diagnosed by a doctor. Other diseases may also show similar symptoms.

Resistance

This medicine should be used for the complete prescribed course even when the symptoms get better. The infection may recur and the fungi may get less sensitive to the medicine, resulting in drug resistance, if it is not used for the complete prescribed course.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 12 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Chronic use

High doses of this medicine should not be used for more than two weeks due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. If required, low doses can be used for long-term only under the supervision of your doctor.

Application area specific dose

Application of high doses in areas where chances of absorption are higher (e.g., face, armpit, groin, etc.) should be avoided. Systemic absorption may result in severe adverse effects.

Allergic skin reaction

Use of this medicine may cause local allergic skin reactions such as a rash, erythema, pinpoint spots, etc. in some patients. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Missed Dose

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Disease interactions

Diabetes

This medicine may alter the blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes. This interaction is based on the amount applied and the size of the application area. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels is necessary for such patients during treatment with this medicine. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Diaper rash

This medicine should not be applied to diaper rashes since the risks of systemic absorption and associated complications are significantly high. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered under your doctor's supervision

Hyperadrenocorticism

This medicine should be used with caution in patients having a high level of adrenal hormones in the body and in patients diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition of the patient.
