Manufactured bySERDIA PHARMACEUTICALS (INDIA) PVT LTD
ContainsPerindopril (8 mg) + Indapamide (2.5 mg)
Description
Coversyl Plus HD Tablet is a combination of Perindopril and Indapamide. This medicine is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It works by relaxing your blood vessels, which makes the blood flow easily, thus reduces your blood pressure. This will also reduce the risk of heart attack or a stroke (brain damage due to interrupted blood flow) by making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. Coversyl Plus HD Tablet shows some common side effects like decreased blood pressure, dizziness, back pain, cough, weakness, etc. These side effects are temporary and will go away gradually. However, if you have persistent vomiting and/or diarrhoea, as well as excessive sweating, you should inform your doctor. Coversyl Plus HD Tablet contains Indapamide (water pill) which causes frequent urination. Take this medicine on an empty stomach in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. To avoid any missed dose, take this medicine at the same time every day. Even if you feel better or your blood pressure appears to be under control, do not stop taking it. Abrupt discontinuation may lead to side effects or a sudden increase in your blood pressure. This medicine is safe for long term use. Coversyl Plus HD Tablet is only recommended if you are 18 years old or above. Inform your doctor if you have any history of kidney, liver and heart problems or any other condition. You should also tell your doctor about any other medications you are taking, particularly those used to treat high blood pressure or heart problems. Pregnant women should not use this medication since it might harm the foetus, especially if taken during the second and third trimesters.
