Description
Coldman Oral Suspension is a combination of Cetirizine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine. It is used to treat common cold symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, cough, watery eyes, and nasal congestion in children. It also relieves fever associated with the common cold. Coldman Oral Suspension may cause some common side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, dryness in the mouth, and headache. This medicine may cause dizziness or sleepiness in some children. Inform the doctor if your child feels dizzy or sleepy after taking this medicine. Seek a doctor's consultation if these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. Avoid giving this medicine to your child if he/she is allergic to it. Coldman Oral Suspension can be given with food to avoid an upset stomach. The doctor will decide the dose and duration of this medicine based on the severity of your child's medical condition. Coldman Oral Suspension should be used with caution if your child has any problems related to the liver, kidney, heart or asthma. This medicine may interact with other medicines. Allergy

Severe liver impairment

Coldman Oral Suspension gets broken down into its active form in the liver. Higher doses of this medicine may cause liver damage in your child. Therefore, this medicine is generally not recommended if your child has severe liver problems because it can further increase the risk of liver damage.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO)

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) are a class of medicines used to treat depression. Coldman Oral Suspension is not recommended if your child has taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors within the last 14 days due to the increased risk of severe side effects.

How it works
