Description
Cof-ryl Cough Syrup is a combination medicine that consists of Diphenhydramine, Ammonium chloride, Sodium citrate and Menthol. It is used to treat cough from allergies and lung infections. It relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, itchy nose and sneezing. This syrup stops certain substances produced by the body which cause allergic cough. It also dissolves the thick mucus, makes it easier to cough out the mucus made in your chest (phlegm). Cof-ryl Cough Syrup can cause some side effects like dizziness, sleepiness and stomach pain. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Consult your doctor if these symptoms bother you. Avoid any activities that require concentration as this medicine can cause drowsiness, dizziness and lack of concentration. Cof-ryl Cough Syrup can be taken with or without food. You can drink some warm water after taking it to relieve congestion in the throat. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, you should talk to your doctor. Cof-ryl Cough Syrup is not recommended for use in pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems or lung diseases before taking this medicine.
