Manufactured byMedley Pharmaceuticals
ContainsChlorthalidone (6.25 mg) + Cilnidipine (10 mg) + Telmisartan (40 mg)
Description
Cildip 3D Tablet is a combination of Telmisartan, Cilnidipine and Chlorthalidone. It is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Cildip 3D Tablet shows common side effects like headache, tiredness, swelling of ankles and change in taste. It may also cause dizziness. Therefore, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying down position. If any of these symptoms persist for a long time or worsen, consult your doctor at the earliest. It is advisable to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of going to bed as it contains a water pill (diuretic), and this will make you urinate more. Cildip 3D Tablet can be taken with food. Take this medicine at the same time every day for ease of remembering. Do not stop this medicine on your own, even if you feel better, as it may worsen your condition. High blood pressure usually does not have symptoms and stopping this medicine on your own may increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. Cildip 3D Tablet can be impacted by other medications. Therefore, discuss all your known medical conditions such as heart, kidney or liver problems, and all the active medications that you may be taking, with your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.

How it works
Cildip 3D Tablet consists of Chlorthalidone, Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. Chlorthalidone works by increasing the excretion of water and sodium from your kidneys. This helps in bringing down the blood pressure as well as reduce swelling (oedema). Cilnidipine and Telmisartan both relax the blood vessels, thus improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure levels. Cildip 3D Tablet is thus effective in reducing blood pressure levels.
