Description
Cibrim-T Eye Drops is a combination of Brimonidine and Timolol. It is used in the treatment of ocular hypertension and glaucoma. These are conditions characterised by increased intra-ocular pressure (increased pressure within your eyeballs) due to an imbalance in the production and drainage of the fluid in your eyes. If untreated, they can eventually lead to vision loss. It is also used to relieve redness in your eyes caused by minor eye irritations. Cibrim-T Eye Drops works by reducing the production of fluid in your eyes and lowering eye pressure. Cibrim-T Eye Drops shows some common side effects like blurred vision, dry eyes, and burning sensations in the eyes. Most of these side effects last for a short duration and get resolved with time. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a longer time or become severe. Avoid driving immediately after using this medicine as your vision might be a little blurry. Cibrim-T Eye Drops is for external use only. Instill Cibrim-T Eye Drops as instructed by your doctor. Tilt your head back slightly, pull down your lower eyelid, and squeeze the eye drop from the dropper. Use it for the recommended duration to get maximum benefits. Cibrim-T Eye Drops is not recommended if you are allergic to this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines as they might interact with Cibrim-T Eye Drops and cause undesired effects. Respiratory diseases

This medicine may get absorbed into the blood and cause bronchoconstriction (narrowing of the airways). Hence, it may worsen your condition.

This makes your heart beat slowly or skip beats and your heart cannot pump blood effectively. Cibrim-T Eye Drops is not recommended for use in such cases as it may worsen your condition.

Bacterial keratitis

Bacterial keratitis is the swelling of the clear tissue on the front of the eye (cornea) due to bacterial infection. If Cibrim-T Eye Drops gets contaminated by the bacteria, it can lead to an infection in your eyes. Hence, do not touch the tip of the dropper against your eyes or any surface, as it can contaminate the medicine.

Use in children

Cibrim-T Eye Drops is not recommended in children below two years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.

Missed Dose

Instill the missed dose of Cibrim-T Eye Drops as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Use Cibrim-T Eye Drops with caution if you have severe heart problems. In rare cases, this medicine may get absorbed into the blood on prolonged use and cause slow heart rate, chest heaviness, palpitation, reduced blood pressure, etc.

Instill Cibrim-T Eye Drops as instructed by your doctor. Tilt your head back slightly, pull down your lower eyelid, and squeeze the eye drop from the dropper. Remember to use it at the same time each day. Cibrim-T Eye Drops is for external use only. Avoid contact with the mouth, nose, or open wounds. Rinse immediately with water if it comes in contact with these areas. Wash your hands before you apply the eye drop. To avoid contamination, you should not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. If you are using any other eye medication, maintain a time gap of at least five minutes between the use of both medications. Consult with your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within a few weeks of use.
