Description
Cerebrolysin Injection is used for the treatment of cerebral disorders, cranial injuries, Alzheimer's disease, and various form of dementia. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from epilepsy and in patient's suffering from severe renal impairment.

General warnings

Seizure Disorders

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from seizure disorders due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of the clinical condition, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the patient's condition.

Kidney Function impairment

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the patient's clinical condition.

Intravenous Administration

When used intravenously, up to 10 ml should be slowly administered over 3 minutes and if the dose is 10-50 ml, it should be infused within 15-60 minutes.

Intramuscular Administration

When used intramuscularly, up to 5 ml should be administered slowly over 3 minutes.

Use in Pediatrics

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients less than 18 years of age. Your doctor may prescribe this medicine if the benefits significantly outweigh the risks. In such a case, you will be monitored closely for any adverse effects.
