Description

Carvidex 3.125 GM Tablet is an antihypertensive medication that is used to lower the blood pressure and also to treat heart failure. This medicine is not recommended for use in children.

Cardiogenic shock

Severe liver impairment

General warnings

Major surgery

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients who are scheduled for major surgery. An anesthetic agent with little negative inotropic activity should be selected to minimize the effect on the heart.

Sports

It is advised to not indulge in certain sports while consuming this medicine. Archery, racing, shooting and other high-risk sports should be avoided. Sportspersons should refer to the list of banned medicines published by the World Anti-Doping Agency while participating in specific sports events.

Pheochromocytoma

This medicine should be administered with extreme caution in patients suffering from pheochromocytoma (adrenal gland tumor) due to the risk of adverse effects. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Driving or operating machinery
