Description
Candidox Shampoo is a combination of Ciclopirox and Zinc pyrithione. It is used to treat seborrheic dermatitis (also called dandruff, which is a skin condition that causes flaking and itchiness of your scalp). It works by stopping the growth of the infection-causing fungi. Candidox Shampoo may cause side effects such as itchiness, irritation, redness, or burning sensation at the site of application, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Candidox Shampoo should be applied topically to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration to effectively treat your infection. Candidox Shampoo should be avoided if you are allergic to it. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 16 years of age. If you are pregnant, or breastfeeding, or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before using this medication.
