Description
Candid TV Suspension is a combination of Clotrimazole and Selenium Sulfide. It is used to treat tinea versicolor (a fungal infection that causes small, discoloured patches on your skin) and dandruff (a skin condition that causes flaking and itchiness of your scalp). It works by stopping the growth of the infection-causing fungi. Candid TV Suspension may cause side effects such as hair loss, skin rash, oiliness/dryness of your scalp and hair, burning sensation at the site of application, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Candid TV Suspension should be applied topically to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration to effectively treat your infection. Candid TV Suspension should be avoided if you are allergic to it. If you are pregnant, or breastfeeding, or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before using this medication.

The infected area may cause itchiness. Avoid scratching as it will damage the surface of your skin and cause the infection to spread further. How it works
Candid TV Suspension is a combination of Clotrimazole and Selenium Sulfide. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine that works by damaging the cell membrane of the fungus. This prevents the growth of fungus and stops the spread of infection. Selenium Sulfide reduces the greasiness and slows down the growth of the skin cells on your scalp that cause dandruff. It also exhibits antifungal action and prevents fungal cell growth.
