Buserelin
Description
Buserelin is used for the treatment of hormone-dependent advanced cancer of the prostate. It is also used either alone or in a combination with other medicines to treat certain hormone-dependent conditions such as endometriosis and infertility (assisted reproduction -IVF). This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Hypertension
This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from a high blood pressure (hypertension) due to the increased risk of a very high blood pressure. Close monitoring of blood pressure levels is advised in these patients. Therapy with this medicine should not be initiated if the blood pressure is uncontrolled. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.
Diabetes
This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from diabetes mellitus due to the increased risk of altered blood glucose levels.
