Description
Briomont Suspension is used to prevent and control the symptoms of asthma (a condition in which there is a narrowing of the airways which leads to breathing difficulty). It also provides relief from the symptoms of allergy such as watery eyes, sneezing, difficulty in breathing, chest tightness, etc. Briomont Suspension works by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers in your body that cause allergic symptoms, inflammation and redness in your airways to prevent asthma. Briomont Suspension may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach pain, fever and diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if they become severe or persist for a long time. Briomont Suspension can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving vehicles and operating machines if you feel dizzy or sleepy. Briomont Suspension can be taken with or without food, as directed by your doctor. Take this medicine at the same time every day for ease of remembering. Never take more than the prescribed dose. Avoid the discontinuation of this medication unless suggested by your doctor. Briomont Suspension is not suitable for acute (short-term) asthma attacks as it may not be effective in such conditions. Consult your doctor to understand which medicine should be taken in case of a sudden attack. Briomont Suspension has to be taken with caution if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems. Do not give your medicine to other people even if the symptoms appear similar.
