Description
Bimat LS TM Eye Drops is a combination medicine used for the treatment of increased eye pressure in patients suffering from open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, conditions which may lead to eventual vision loss. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Sinus Bradycardia

Atrioventricular Block

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of second or third degree AV block, not controlled with a pacemaker, due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Overt Cardiac Failure

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known overt cardiac failure due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Cardiogenic shock

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of cardiogenic shock due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Pregnancy

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine.

This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine. General warnings

Contact lens

This medicine is not recommended for use if you are wearing soft contact lenses in your eyes. The lens should be removed prior to administration of the eye drops and can be reinserted 15 minutes post administration.

Cardiac failure

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a known history of cardiac failure since it may worsen the patient's condition. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established. However, your doctor may prescribe this medicine if the benefits significantly outweigh the risks. In such a case, the patient should be monitored closely for any adverse effects.

Diabetes

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of diabetes due to the increased risk of very low blood sugar levels. You may require a dose adjustment and more frequent monitoring of blood glucose levels to safely use this medicine. Hyperthyroidism

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of hyperthyroidism since an abrupt withdrawal of therapy may worsen the patient's condition. Therapy should be discontinued gradually over a period of 1 to 2 weeks, when necessary, to decrease this risk. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.
