Description
Bexol Eye Drops is a medicine used to treat eye conditions such as intraocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma caused due to increased fluid pressure inside the eyes. Bexol Eye Drops works by decreasing the amount of fluid in the eyes, thus reducing the fluid pressure. Bexol Eye Drops may cause side effects like headache, burning sensation in the eyes, dry eyes, itching, etc. Most of these side effects are temporary and resolve on their own. However, consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. It may also cause blurred vision immediately after instilling the medicine in your eyes. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines until your vision is clear. Bexol Eye Drops is meant for external use only. To use this medicine, pull down your lower eyelid and squeeze a few drops of the medicine into the eyelid pocket. Do not stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your condition. Bexol Eye Drops is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other medicines in your eyes or have any other eye problems to make sure this medicine is safe for you. Hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland makes too much thyroid hormone (a chemical substance that regulates the body's metabolism, digestive function, brain development, bone maintenance, etc.). Bexol Eye Drops should be used with caution if you have hyperthyroidism. In such cases, an abrupt withdrawal of this medicine may worsen your condition. Your doctor may taper the dose gradually throughout one to two weeks, when necessary, to decrease this risk. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Bexol Eye Drops is meant for external use only. Instill the medicine in your eyes as instructed by your doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or packaging insert. Wash your hands before and after use. Avoid touching the tip of the bottle against your eye or other surfaces. Close the cover of the bottle after administration to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the dropper tip. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before instilling other medications in the same eye. Do not use Bexol Eye Drops for more than 30 days after breaking the seal. Avoid using Bexol Eye Drops if the solution is cloudy or the colour has changed.
