Description

Benzol 200 MG Suspension is an antiparasitic drug used in the prevention and treatment of parasitic infections caused by tapeworms, pinworms and hookworms.

  • Bone Marrow Suppression

    - Benzol 200 MG Suspension may alter the functionality of bone marrow resulting in a decreased count of white blood cells. Therapy should be discontinued if any such abnormalities are observed.
  • Liver Diseases

    - This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases since it may increase the levels of the liver enzymes. Close monitoring of liver enzyme levels is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
  • Effects on Brain

    - Benzol 200 MG Suspension may cause neurological effects such as dizziness, fits, etc. when the medicine is used to treat Neurocysticercosis. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery during treatment with this medicine.
