Description
Bactocef 1 g Injection is a combination of Cefoperazone and Sulbactam. It is used to treat infections of the lungs, urinary tract, bone, joints, stomach, skin, etc. caused by bacteria. This medicine prevents the spread of infections by killing bacteria. The side effects of Bactocef 1 g Injection are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, anaemia (low number of red blood cells),etc. Bactocef 1 g Injection is given under the guidance of a medical professional in a hospital setting. Do not skip any scheduled appointments when you are taking this medication. Complete the course of treatment even if you feel better after a few doses. Your infections might not be treated completely if you discontinue this medicine early. Bactocef 1 g Injection is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems. If you are taking any medicines and herbal supplements, inform your doctor before starting the treatment. Coomb's test

How it works
Bactocef 1 g Injection contains Cefoperazone and Sulbactam. Cefoperazone interferes with bacterial cell wall formation and kills the bacteria. Sulbactam reduces Cefoperazone resistance against bacteria and makes it more effective in treating infections.
