Description
B Kof Expectorant is an prescription medicine used in relieving productive cough. It helps in relieving symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties and cough caused by bronchospasm (contraction of airways), bronchial asthma (airway path of the lungs to swell and narrow), chronic bronchitis (long-term inflammation of the bronchi), etc. It dissolves thick mucus formed in the air passages and makes it easier to cough out mucus made in your chest (phlegm). Use B Kof Expectorant only if advised by your physician. You may experience certain side effects like headache, diarrhoea, blurred vision, nausea and vomiting, etc. Do not use B Kof Expectorant if previously allergic to it. Complete the entire treatment course for the best results even if symptoms subside. Maintain caution in heart, kidney or liver impairment patients while using this medicine. Take B Kof Expectorant with or without food. Use this medicine with the doctor recommendation only. This medicine is not safe for use in pregnant women due to the fetal side effects. Hence tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using it. It is not recommended to use this medicine in children below 2 years of age is due to a lack of safety data.
