Description

Avil 25 mg Expectorant is an antihistamine with a little sedative action. It is used to prevent or treat allergic reactions like hay fever or urticaria caused by pollen, dust, or animal hair. Use of this medicine in children under the age of 5 years is not recommended.

Allergy

Benign prostatic hyperplasia

Avil 25 mg Expectorant is not recommended for use in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) since taking the medicine may result in further difficulty in passing urine.

Antidepressants

Use of Avil 25 mg Expectorant along with antidepressants of MAO inhibitors class like selegiline or rasagiline is not recommended since this combination may lead to prolonged adverse effects like dryness of mouth, constipation, urinary retention, and blurred vision.

General warnings

Warning

Missed Dose
