Interaction with Medicine
Atocor 5 MG Tablet should be given with extreme caution if you have an active liver disease. The dosage has to be suitably adjusted and clinical monitoring of liver function is necessary. The medicine should be discontinued if the liver function is abnormal even after reducing the dosage.
Any incidence of a muscle disorder either active or historic should be reported to the doctor. The dosage needs to be very carefully adjusted in such cases. Clinical monitoring may be required in some cases. Any symptoms like muscle pain, weakness should be reported especially if it is accompanied by fever and unease.
Atocor 5 MG Tablet should be given with caution if you have any symptoms of memory loss, forgetfulness or confusion. The effects tend to go away once the use of statin is discontinued.
The doctor should be informed if you suffer from Diabetes. Atocor 5 MG Tablet should be taken with caution and close monitoring is required in such cases.
Consumption of grapefruit juice should be avoided while you are on Atocor 5 MG Tablet. Signs and symptoms like muscle pain and weakness, fever, and chills, swelling of joints, skin rash, nausea, vomiting should be reported to the doctor.
