How it works
Domperidone works by blocking certain chemicals in the brain and the intestine; this helps to control nausea and vomiting. Paracetamol increases the pain threshold. It also blocks the release of certain chemicals which are responsible for causing pain and swelling. Their combination is thus better effective in the treatment of a migraine headache.
