Description

Astaxanthin is an antioxidant. It is used to improve the functioning of your brain, heart and immune system. It also helps to improve your vision and the texture of your skin. It works by improving the blood flow, nourishing the cells back to health, and protecting the cells from further damage. Astaxanthin has some side effects like increased bowel movement and red coloured stools. High doses of this medicine may cause stomach pain. Consult your doctor if these effects last for a long time or become severe. Astaxanthin should be taken according to your doctor's instruction. You should not take more than the prescribed quantity. In case of undesired effects due to an overdose, consult your doctor immediately. Astaxanthin should be avoided if you are allergic to it.
