Description
Arpan Contraceptive Pill is a medicine that contains Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol. It is used as a contraceptive (to prevent an unwanted pregnancy). This medicine works by preventing ovulation (release and fertilization of egg). Arpan Contraceptive Pill has some side effects like headache, dizziness, spotty menstruation, increased blood pressure, etc. These side effects may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms bother you for a long time or worsen. Arpan Contraceptive Pill can be taken with or without food. Follow the instructions given by your doctor while taking this medicine. It is usually taken from day one of your menstrual cycle and continued for a complete month. Do not stop taking this medicine without completing the course as it may lead to pregnancy. Arpan Contraceptive Pill may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver or heart problems before taking this medicine. It is not recommended for use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
