Description
Arkamin 100 mcg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It controls your blood pressure by relaxing your blood vessels and decreasing your heart rate. Arkamin 100 mcg Tablet may cause common side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, nausea/vomiting, fatigue, dry mouth, constipation, loss of appetite, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Arkamin 100 mcg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body. Avoid discontinuing the treatment without consulting your doctor, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms such as agitation, restlessness, headache, rapid increase in blood pressure, etc. Hence, your doctor may gradually reduce the dose over a period to avoid such undesired effects. Arkamin 100 mcg Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have pre-existing heart, kidney, or mental health problems before beginning treatment with this medicine. Also, inform your doctor about your current medications to avoid undesired effects. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medication.

Allergy

Heart diseases

Arkamin 100 mcg Tablet is not recommended if you have bradyarrhythmia (a slow heart rate with irregular heart rhythm) resulting from the sick-sinus syndrome (a condition in which the heart's natural pacemaker located in the upper right heart chamber becomes damaged) or AV block of second or third-degree (delay or interruption in the transmission of electrical impulses that control the heartbeat). This medicine may further worsen your condition.

Hypotension

Arkamin 100 mcg Tablet may increase your risk of hypotension (low blood pressure).
