How it works
Aristogyl Plus Tablet is a combination of Metronidazole, Diloxanide Furoate, and Simethicone. Metronidazole kills bacteria and protozoa by damaging their DNA. Diloxanide Furoate works by interfering with certain vital functions in the protozoal cell, causing the death of the organism which eventually form cysts. These cysts are excreted through stools. Simethicone reduces excessive gas in the stomach and relieves symptoms such as stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, and flatulence (accumulation of gas in the stomach). Therefore, this combination treats your infection effectively.
