Andrecin 1% Ointment

Manufactured byIntas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Description
Andrecin 1% Ointment is an antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (an infection of the outer surface of the eye that causes redness, discomfort, and discharge from the affected eye). It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Andrecin 1% Ointment may cause some side effects like burning sensation, irritation, and dryness of the eyes. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Andrecin 1% Ointment is meant for use on the eyes only. Use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Continue using Andrecin 1% Ointment for the prescribed duration. Skipping doses or not completing the course of treatment may increase the risk of re-infection that would be difficult to treat in the future. Andrecin 1% Ointment is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other eye drops/ointment or have any other eye problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using this medicine.
