Analgin

Description

Analgin is used in the treatment of pain caused by a toothache, headache, arthralgia (joint pain), neuralgia (nerve pain), myalgia (muscle pain), colicky pain, and severe pain after surgeries, traumas (injuries), etc. It is also used as a fever reducer.

Bronchial asthma

Hereditary hemolytic anemia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with hereditary hemolytic anemia associated with a deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

General warnings

Driving or operating machinery

This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Liver impairment

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from mild to moderate liver impairment due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition. Kidney impairment

Red coloration of urine

Use of this medicine may cause red colored urine in some patients.

Missed Dose
