Zaha 1 % Eye Drops

Manufactured byAjanta Pharma Ltd.
ContainsAzithromycin
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

Description

Zaha 1 % Eye Drops is an antibiotic used to treat conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye. Conjunctivitis is the swelling or infection of the transparent membrane that lines your eyelid and eyeball. This medicine works by blocking the formation of proteins required for bacterial growth, thus reducing infection. This medicine is only effective for bacterial infections, not for viral and other infections. Zaha 1 % Eye Drops may cause some common side effects such as eye irritation, redness, discharge etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Avoid activities like driving vehicles and operating machines as this medicine may make your vision blurry. Zaha 1 % Eye Drops is taken as prescribed by your doctor. Your dose will depend on the severity of your condition. Try using this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. Complete the whole treatment even if you feel better to avoid antibiotic resistance (when bacteria develop resistance to the antibiotics). Zaha 1 % Eye Drops is not recommended in children below 1 year of age and if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you use contact lenses before starting the treatment. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
