Vilarest 20 mg Tablet is a medicine that is used to treat the symptoms of depression. It works by regulating the levels of a chemical called serotonin which helps regulate anxiety, mood, and happiness and alleviate the symptoms of depression. It is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Vilarest 20 mg Tablet may cause some common side effects like nausea, vomiting, difficulty sleeping and diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Do not drive vehicles or operate heavy machines as Vilarest 20 mg Tablet may cause dizziness and drowsiness. Do not use Vilarest 20 mg Tablet if you are allergic to it. Vilarest 20 mg Tablet should be taken with food at the same time every day. Do not skip any dose and ensure completion of the full course of treatment for the best results, even if you feel better after taking a few doses. Do not stop taking Vilarest 20 mg Tablet without consulting your doctor as it may cause withdrawal symptoms and worsen your condition. Vilarest 20 mg Tablet may not be suitable for all people. Depression

Vilarest 20 mg Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of depression such as anxiety, irritability, lack of concentration, emotional distress, etc. This condition can occur in various forms including menopausal depression (depression that occurs after menopause), psychogenic depression, masked depression (depression with more physical symptoms than psychological ones), depressive neuroses (prolonged mild depression in an unstable person) and dysphoria (lack of interest) and depression in alcoholics/drug addicts.

Allergy

A time gap of at least 14 days should be maintained between stopping treatment with MAOIs and starting treatment with Vilarest 20 mg Tablet.

Abnormal bleeding
