Description

Vertigen Tablet is a combination of Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. It is used for the treatment of vertigo (a feeling of dizziness or spinning, commonly caused by a problem with the way balance works in the inner ear). This medicine helps to improve blood circulation in the inner ear. It also blocks the action of certain chemicals that are responsible for causing vertigo. Vertigen Tablet may cause side effects like headache, nausea, dry mouth, indigestion, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or become severe. Avoid driving vehicles and operating while taking this medicine as it can make you feel drowsy. Vertigen Tablet is usually taken with food or as directed by your doctor. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your condition. Avoid abrupt discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms may reoccur. Vertigen Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, or any other medical conditions before taking this medicine. Inform your doctor about all of your current medicines to avoid any undesired effects. Vertigen Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
