Description

Ursocol 225 MG Tablet SR is a medicine used to dissolve gallstones that are composed mainly of undissolved cholesterol and also prevent gallstones in overweight people who are planning on losing weight rapidly. Ursocol 225 MG Tablet SR is also used in the treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis. It is a condition that impairs the liver's ability to function properly and causes a build-up of a fluid called bile within the liver. It may gradually worsen over time. This medicine works by decreasing the toxic levels of bile acid that may accumulate in such a condition. Ursocol 225 MG Tablet SR may cause side effects like upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, etc. These side effects usually resolve with time. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Ursocol 225 MG Tablet SR should be taken after a meal with a glass of milk or water. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical condition. Avoid taking more than the recommended dose as it may increase the risk of side effects. Take this medicine for the recommended duration to prevent the formation of a certain type of gallstone. Ursocol 225 MG Tablet SR should be used with caution if you have any liver problems or a swollen gallbladder. Inform your doctor about your current medications to avoid any interaction with Ursocol 225 MG Tablet SR.
