Description

Tyklid 250 mg Tablet is used to prevent clots in blood vessels and for the prevention and treatment of stroke in patients for whom use of aspirin is not recommended. It can be taken in combination with other antiplatelet agents for better effectiveness. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with bleeding disorders. Close monitoring of platelet count is necessary during treatment with this medicine.

What is it prescribed for?

Ischemic Stroke

Tyklid 250 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of ischemic stroke caused by reduced blood supply to certain areas of the brain.

Coronary artery stent thrombosis prevention

Tyklid 250 mg Tablet is used in the prevention of sudden blockage of a stented coronary artery caused by clot formation.

Bleeding disorders

It is advised that you should inform your doctor about all your medical conditions before starting treatment with this medicine.

Discontinuation of therapy

Sudden stoppage of this medicine may increase the risk of heart diseases. If treatment is interrupted in conditions like surgery or bleeding, it should be restarted as soon as possible. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Use of antacids

Antacids should be used 1 hour before or 2 hours after the dose of Tyklid 250 mg Tablet to avoid undesired side effects.

Geriatric use

Missed Dose
