Description

Tolperitas-D (50/150 mg) Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of diclofenac and tolperisone. It is used for the treatment of acute muscle spasms in adults. It provides relief from swelling, stiffness and pain associated with muscle spasms and arthritis. It improves muscle tone by improving blood flow to the muscles and blocks certain chemicals that signal pain thus, it reduces stiffness and provides relief from pain. Tolperitas-D (50/150 mg) Tablet may cause some side effects like drowsiness, heartburn, loss of appetite, vomiting, nausea, stomach pain and diarrhoea. It may affect your ability to drive as it can cause drowsiness and blurred vision. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or get worse. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Tolperitas-D (50/150 mg) Tablet should be taken with food to reduce the chances of stomach upset. Inform your doctor if have ulcers, bleeding issues, liver or kidney problems while prescribing this medicine to you. It may not be recommended for use if you have asthma that is affected by NSAIDs (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like aspirin. Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine as it can cause damage to the stomach. Consult your doctor before taking Tolperitas-D (50/150 mg) Tablet if you are pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.

NSAID-induced asthma

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)-induced asthma is an allergic condition of the respiratory system that may occur when you used NSAIDs in higher doses or for a long time. Tolperitas-D (50/150 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use if you have this condition.

Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG)

Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a surgical procedure that diverts the blood from narrowed or blocked vessels in the heart to improve its blood supply. Tolperitas-D (50/150 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use before, during, or after a coronary artery bypass graft surgery as it may cause heart failure.
