Instructions
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment of this medicine due to the increased risk of dizziness, fainting, and a very low blood pressure. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you consume alcohol during treatment with this medicine.

Disease interactions
Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood efficiently. Telsar LN-5 Tablet should be used with caution if you have conditions such as heart failure. It may lead to oliguria (low urine output) and kidney failure. Your doctor may closely monitor the functioning of your heart and kidney while you are taking this medicine.
Telsar LN-5 Tablet is excreted via the kidney and may get accumulated in your body if your kidneys are not functioning properly. This can increase the risk of severe side effects. Hence, this medicine should be used with caution if you have kidney problems.
Telsar LN-5 Tablet should be used with caution as it may cause hypotension (low blood pressure). The risk is especially higher if you have low levels of sodium in your body or if you have low fluid volumes due to excessive vomiting, diarrhoea, kidney failure, etc. Hence, regularly monitor your blood pressure while you are taking this medicine.
Food interactions
Consumption of grapefruit juice is not recommended while taking this medicine due to the increased risk of adverse effects. Symptoms like dizziness, headache, swelling of hands and feet should be reported to the doctor on priority.
Lab interactions
Urinary vanillylmandelic acid
Report the use of this medicine if you have been asked to undergo this test for the presence of adrenal gland tumor. Use of this medicine is likely to give the false value that might be higher than normal.
